Medical Volunteer Opportunities  

  1. St. Jude Medical Center is honored to have over 700 volunteer annually, proving non-clinical support to patients, visitors, and staff. Our volunteers assist more than 75 departments, from escorting patients and visitors throughout the hospital to running internal errands, providing clerical support, and more. Volunteers also help in a variety of off-site locations including the St. Jude Medical Center Plaza, Knott Family Endoscopy Center, and the Outpatient Testing Center.

Developmental Disability Nurse Developmental disability nurses help patients with mental or developmental disabilities like Down Syndrome or Trisomy 21, autism, and more. These nurses also educate patients' families about the disability and provide emotional support. I choose the career because i really looking forward to becoming a developmental disability nurse.
