Education: In order to be a licensed Doctor of Naturopathy (ND) or Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (NMD), students must complete a 4-year, graduate-level program accredited by the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education. The first two years of a naturopathic medical degree are the same as for traditional medical students.
Demand for this profession:The AANMC showed a positive outlook, and reported that employment of physicians would grow faster than average through 2014. Additionally, employment for physicians and surgeons was expected to increase by 14% from 2014-2024, based on BLS predictions.
