Medical Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities: Administrative duties include: answering telephones, greeting patients, updating and filing patients' medical records, filling out insurance forms, handling correspondence, scheduling appointments, arranging for hospital admission and laboratory services, and handling billing and bookkeeping.They also need to see when is their next appointment for the patient and they have to give them a date and a time and when is their doctor have time for them.

Education: medical assistants must graduate from a 2-year associate degree program in medical assistance accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.formal Training Through Accredited Programs. There are many colleges, universities, and technical schools that offer medical assistant training programs. Depending upon your preferences, you may choose to earn a certificate or diploma in as little as 9-12 months, or an associate's degree in 18-24 months.

Demand and need for this profession:Handling both administrative and clinical duties and reporting directly to an office manager, physician, or other health practitioner

Reflection:I would love to become a medical assistant because i like doing what they do. Like for example i like checking their sugar,pressure,and other stuff.I also would like to update their history.I like what they do and like the salary how much they get paid.i would like to help people out like that it a very good job and career.love it and you can become one really fast and you could learn more if you want to become someone more higher like a doctor.
